How to Setup or Configure Email in Apple Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger

Your domain name, e.g. resultit.com.au
Your email address.
Your email password.STEP by STEP: Configuring Email – Apple Mail Tiger
Step 1. Open Apple Mail Tiger.Step 2. From the Tools menu, choose Account Settings

Step 3. Click the Accounts button and click on '+' button at the bottom

Step 4. Perform the following steps:
Select POP3 or IMAP from the Account Type drop down.
Enter Account Description as you want it to appear.
Enter your Full Name as you want it to appear.
Enter your full email address in the Email address: field.
Click on Continue

Step 5. Provide Incoming Mail Settings:
Account Type: IMAP
Description:
Incoming Mail Server:
User Name:
Password: This is the password you created for your email user.

Step 6. Once you click continue you may be prompted with a connection error.
Please continue to your Incoming Mail Security Settings:
Please uncheck Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
Authentication: Password

Step 7. Provide Outgoing Mail Settings:
Select in the Outgoing mail server: field.
Make sure to check mark the Use Authentication check box.
Enter your full email address in the Username field.
Enter your email password in the Password: field
Click on the Continue button.

Step 8. Close the Accounts window, and click the Save button.
Congratulations, you have finished setting up your email account in Apple Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger Mail!
