How to Setup or Configure Email in Thunderbird

Info you will need:
Your domain name, e.g. resultit.com.au
Your email address.
Your email password.STEP by STEP: Configuring Email Client – Thunderbird
Step 1. Open Thunderbird.Step 2. From the Tools menu, choose Account Settings

Step 3. Click the Add Account button.

Step 4. Select Email account and click the Next Button.

Step 5. You will now get a message that your folders are downloading:

Step 6. Select POP3 or IMAP
Enter in the 'Incoming Server:' field.
Click on the Next button.

Step 7. Enter your full email address in the Incoming User Name field.
Click on the Next button.

Step 8. Enter the name you want to refer to this email account in the Account Name field.
Click on the Next button.

Step 9. You are almost done setting up your email.
Click on the Next button.

Step 10. You are almost done setting up your email.
Click on the Next button.

Step 11. Select the User name and password check box
Fill in your entire email address in the User Name field.
Click on OK
Close the Account Settings window

Step 12. Now you have completed the setup of your Thunderbird email program.
