How to Setup or Configure Email in Windows Live Mail

Info you will need:
Your domain name, e.g. resultit.com.au
Your email address.
Your email password.STEP by STEP: Configuring Email Client – Windows Live Mail
Step 1. Open Windows Live Mail.Step 2. You will be prompted to create a email account:

Step 3. Next you can fill out your Account Settings:

A) My incoming mail server is a (select IMAP or POP) server.
Incoming server:
Port: 143 for IMAP or 110 for POP
This server requires a secure connection (SSL) should be unchecked.
Log on using: Clear text authentication
Login ID:
B) Outgoing Server:
Port: 25 or 587
This server requires a secure connection (SSL) should be unchecked.
Please check My outgoing server requires authentication.
Step 4. You should now get a success message. Please continue:

Step 5. You will now get a message that your folders are downloading:

Step 6. Please verify that your folders look correct then click OK:

Step 7. You should now be able to send and receive emails:

# If you can't send or receive try using our webmail application. If webmail is successful please check your settings again.
# If you have trouble sending email you may want to check if port 25 is blocked.
